Yo, So is Roy's D-Air a meteor or a spike?

A meteor. As far as I know, there are only two real spikes in the game: Falco's dair and Marth's Dair.

I didn't know Roy's Dair did anything....I thought it just hit them upwards, like Marth's when you hit at that certain spot.

And to answer your question, it's a meteor.

Don't forget what Sensai said and Falcon's nipple spike .

Roy's DAir will only meteor smash at the OPENING animation; in other words, if you look at the red arc created by the attack, it will only spike at the very beginning of the arc. I was bored one day and spent about 15 minutes trying to find the spiking part - -;;.

^ Not a spike. Spikes can't be meteor cancelled. If you hit with the meteor part of Roy's D-air it can still be meteor cancelled.
