I don't know who to to play , so I'll ask you guys! List the strengths and weaknesses of both, along with who you think is the better one overall and why.

Roy: Big sword
Ike: Bigger sword
Ganon: Biggest sword, doesn't even need it to wreck your ****

I think the choice is clear

Roy = good neutral game, fast, combos hard, awful recovery.

Ike = strong, slow, big disjoint, harder to combo with, good recovery.

It'd be great if he really did have his sword in Smash though...

Also, seriously at the OP: I'm not trying to be a killjoy but this just deserves to be in both the Roy and Ike subforums - not general discussion. It doesn't fit. Good luck deciding though.

I like Roy myself. Nice combo of power and mobility. Greet combos.

Ike is slower, but has that scary power, and his side B when mixed well with his game suddenly makes him surprisingly fast.

I prefer Roy, but I use Ike as well so I can see his tremendous potential. I'd say use Ike if you rather struggle with his slow but powerful arsenal than with Roy's terrible recovery and comparatively poorer air game (I mean he's a fast-faller, making it difficult to use him off-stage).

Also, I think this is a better place to post this, as you'll find a lot of bias on either the Roy or Ike subforums.
