Roll / SideStep abusing Falco?

My friend plays Falco, and I play Shiek. I win the majority 4/5 games we play, but usually all he does is roll / sidestep abuse until I miss an attack and capitalizes on my miss, which leads to a combo on his part.

I'm watching him play as I type this, and again, he's just rolling non-stop.

How exactly do I beat a Falco who just roll abuses and plays so defensively?

If you have a fist full of needles and he rolls, let him have it.

People who abuse rolling can be beaten with some simple mindgames. Remember that he's vulnerable as he comes out of the roll, so capitalize on that.

If he rolls away from you all the time, assume he's going to do it.

Try dash dancing or trying to trick him with false approaches.

down smash or jab to down smash. less lag if you miss.
seriously if all he does is dodge you should be able to read his movements after a while. Then its not very hard to take advantage of it, especially if you win 4/5 times.

Realize that rolling over and over is a terrible move.

If they roll and side step just turn around walk up then wait for the side step then grab or whatever.

I personally Up-smash spacies who do that a lot cuz up-smash is rapsies :)

But yea predict their moves and slow down. Remember that if you know what he is gonna do you basically manipulate him into doing that move (in this case rolling/side stepping).

Put him in a position to do that move again and punish. Its not too hard in this case because your opponent is probably randomly side stepping every time he can't do anything and when you are close. So all you do is.. well... move toward him lol. Of course then you do your move telling him that you read his whatever ;).

I abuse the roll attack with everyone, due to the fact that I can only seem to wave dash when coming back from being thrown, but I've learned that one good is to try and fake them out and try to get them to roll right into you.
