to save some time, against all but a handful of opponents, two bananas really will solve all your problems
to be character specific, dont get close to rob unless he's on his robot *** from a banana. He can dodge whatever you do and then do his dsmash (which is a dodge, block, AND roll counter all at the same time). Also, you're gonna have to chase him with a fair/dair/hump over the stage since his recovery is pretty pro.

Yeah, try to keep your distance from ROB until he's stunned with bananas. Unless the ROB you're fighting is extremely good at using his ranged attacks, you should be able to pretty easily stay in control of the match by constantly barraging him with 'naners.
For the most part, you have the advantage of speed. Most of his attacks don't come off too quickly, however they are powerful and have high priority and range. So be very careful in your approach. Mind Games is the key to victory here, as it is in most any Diddy matchup.
