Smash Lord
Its been a while since I last posted a rmt, and my team has made a few changes since then. This is just a good way for me to openly discuss my strategy.
Donphan@leftovers
Impish/sturdy
252 hp/58 attk/200 def
-Stealth Rock
-Roar
-Earthquake
-Rapid Spin
My spinner/stealth rocker. Roar counters most BP leads (except for ingrained smeargles), and takes physical hits well.
Weavile @ choice band
Jolly/pressure
252 atk 252 spd 6 hp
-Night Slash
-Pursuit
-Ice Shard
-Brick Break
Its a little different from most weaviles. Pursuit is good to take out alakazams, gengar, and dugtrio no matter whether they run or not, but bulkier psychics require night slash. Fortunately, most of them fear pursuit too much to run, which turns a 2hko pursuit into a 1hko night slash. Ice shard is my answer to outraging scarfchomps/scarfed dragonites locked into outrage, and brick break is good for just general type coverage. Actually, weavile has fairly good special defense, and especially with light screen up can switch in on most special threats.
Garchomp @ life orb
Lonely/Sand Veil
252 sp. attk, 240 speed, 16 attack
-Earthquake
-Fire Blast
-Draco Meteor
-Swords Dance
I have a special love for mixed attackers, because it makes it hard for my opponent to figure out what to take out. Skarm and hippowdon don't stand a chance, and donphans get severely dented on the switch. The reason I went with chomp over salamence is because chomp has a higher speed.
Infernape @ life orb
Naive/Blaze
232 spd/ 240 special attack/ 38 atk
-Close Combat
-Grass Knot
-Nasty Plot
-Flamethrower
My second mixed sweeper. Stops most walls, fears tentacruel and starmie if I predict wrong. Also, I've surprised many adamant/choice band dugtrios by outspeeding and ohkoing with flamethrower.
Bronzong @ leftovers
Sassy/Heatproof
252 hp/ 152 atk/8 defense / 98 special defense
-Earthquake
-toxic
-explosion
-light screen
my special wall. Heatproof is an uncommon choice here, I guess. Why do I have heatproof? Scarftran. Otherwise, it dominates my team. I usually throw up a light screen whenever possible, so if heatran switches in, it gets met with a earthquake to the face. Toxic is for outstalling things. Also, light screen benefits Weavile amazingly, letting it survive things like an Azelf flamethrower.
Weezing @ black sludge
Bold/Levitate
252 hp/ 188 def/ 70 sp. attk
-Fire Blast
-Thunderbolt
-Pain Split
-Haze
My hazer, second physical wall, and counters breloom, gyarados, amd heracross, among many others. However, it fears basically every special sweeper in the game.
Basically, either garchomp or infernape do most of the sweeping, with the rest of the pokemon dedicated to eliminating their counters.
This team has been refined over shoddy battle, where this team has experienced moderate success.
