Here's my main team on PO. It's gimmicky (as all my teams are). I play it in Dream World OU. I'll try to explain some of the odd stuff. Post any critiques or suggestions to improve the team.

Skarmory (F) @ Red Card
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 244 HP / 252 Def / 12 Spd
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Spikes
- Stealth Rock
- Drill Peck
- Whirlwind

Notes: 12 spd EVs instead of 4 to outspeed other skarmories.

Dragonite (M) @ Red Card
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch

Notes: Main sweeper. Often times attacking him will switch in someone that can't stop his setup.

Sceptile (M) @ Red Card
Trait: Unburden
EVs: 120 HP / 252 Atk / 16 Def / 120 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Acrobatics
- Brick Break
- Leaf Blade
- Swords Dance

Notes: Secondary sweeper. Unburden doubles his speed when he loses the red card. He has 120 speed EVs because that is just enough to always outspeed excadrill in sand.

Donphan (M) @ Red Card
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 160 HP / 252 Atk / 96 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Ice Shard
- Counter
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin

Notes: Main spinner. Counter + Sturdy + Red Card results in a full ko on a random party member against strong physical attacks.

Mightyena (M) @ Red Card
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Roar
- Heal Bell
- Sucker Punch
- Super Fang

Notes: A strange choice, I know. He just does a nice combination of things. I've tried to replace him but nobody else seems work out as well as he does. People are extremely unfamiliar with what moves he might have.

Swampert (M) @ Red Card
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Earthquake
- Waterfall

Notes: Pretty straightforward. Switch in to cover skarmory's weaknesses. Roar + red card can damage two pokemons due to traps in one turn.

Only suggestion for now

Mew can run that set that Mightyena has and doesn't suck while doing so. It also lets you carry Recovery or Will-O-Wisp if it suits the moveset better.

Standard Skarmory runs 24 Speed EVs, making 12 Speed Skarmory look kind of silly.

Excadrill is banned, so you'll want to adjust Sceptile's Speed EVs. 80 Speed beats neutral nature Hydreigon, 96 Speed is enough to outspeed neutral nature base 100s before Unburden, 160 is enough to outspeed +2 neutral nature Terrakion (you can take an Adamant Stone Edge, though you have a chance to die from Sandstorm), 212 Speed outpaces +nature base 100s befoe Unburden, 224 Speed beats +nature Landorus.

Mightyena can be replaced by Vaporeon (Wish), Altaria (Perish Song, Roost), Lickilicky (Wish), Slowking (status support, Slack Off), or Mew. All of these options bar Slowking learn Aromatherapy or Heal Bell in addition to a phazing move.

Also, shouldn't you be putting more into SpD on Swampert? If he's switching in to take what Skarmory's weaknesses, wouldn't you be taking primarily special attacks?

Thanks for the advice. I should have said that I don't know what I'm doing completely. So for skarmory, how should my EVs be fixed? And by "standard" how standard is it really? I've outspeed most rival skarmories I can remember.

As for Swampert, I actually don't switch into him that often. Really just for obvious electric/fire attacks. Even without the EVs he tanks fire. I chose regular Def because physical attacks seem to be more common.

I occasionally get anti sweep use out of mightyena with intimidate + sucker punch. Super fang seems to do alright against blissey too. Mew sounds like a good idea, but is he actually legal in OU?

Trying out an alternate red card team setup. Once again, it's for DW OU. My previous team worked alright but it ussually lost pretty hard to teams that could effectively rapid spin. The whole red card gimmick is a bit pointless if the field isn't filled with hazards.

I chose drifblim to spinblock and to use the same unburden+red card gimmick I used with sceptile.

I'm trying out forretress. He kind of does what my skarmory and donphan did except he has no priority move or whirlwind, but this opens up an extra spot.

I heard that Jirachi was pretty crazy with red card, and this set has done suprisingly well so far.

The other 3 are pretty much the same.

Forretress (M) @ Red Card
Trait: Sturdy
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Rapid Spin
- Spikes
- Counter
- Stealth Rock

Jirachi @ Red Card
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 188 Def / 68 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Iron Head
- Body Slam
- Wish
- Recycle

Drifblim (M) @ Red Card
Trait: Unburden
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SAtk
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Shadow Ball
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

Dragonite (M) @ Red Card
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 28 HP / 252 Atk / 228 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Fire Punch

Sceptile (M) @ Red Card
Trait: Unburden
EVs: 136 HP / 252 Atk / 120 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Acrobatics
- Brick Break
- Leaf Blade
- Swords Dance

Swampert (M) @ Red Card
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Roar
- Earthquake
- Waterfall

I raged

Looks mostly good, but I'd advise against using Drifblim. As someone who used Drifblim quite a bit in gen IV NU, he is a very frail Pokemon, despite the large HP stat. Especially if you invest heavily in HP and ignore Def and SpDef.

252 SpAtk Choice Specs Surskit (+SpAtk) Ice Beam vs 252 HP/0 SpDef Drifblim: 61.51% - 72.62%
252 Atk Choice Band Smeargle (+Atk) Shadow Force vs 252 HP/0 Def Drifblim: 62.7% - 74.21%

252 SpAtk Choice Specs Surskit (+SpAtk) Ice Beam vs 0 HP/128 SpDef Drifblim: 57.6% - 68.03%
252 Atk Choice Band Smeargle (+Atk) Shadow Force vs 0 HP/128 Def Drifblim: 57.14% - 67.57%

I'd suggest either 252 Def or 252 SpDef on Drifblim (128/128 just makes you mediocre at everything).
