I got bored and decided to make a team without the same old OU leads and Pokemon. I have used this team a few time and everything has been working out pretty good. But I ran into problems because I lack SRs which would definably help me land KOs easier.

Lead Crobat @ Sharp Beak
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 104 Hp/152 Atk/252 Spe
Nature: Jolly
-- Taunt
-- Brave Bird
-- U-turn
-- Roost

This lead has actually done a lot of good for me. Now you might be wondering why I have sharp beak on him. The reason is because I cannot stand Machamp and it always gives me trouble so I wanted to find a lead that an OHKO him and still have other options and good speed. First thing that came to mind is Crobat since he has a STAB brave bird and with the sharp beak it adds enough power to OHKO Machamp. He also can OHKO a standard SD Lucario. It also does good against lead Azelf with U-turn and switching out to tyranitar. He has good options against a lot of the other common leaves because of the STAB brave bird and U-turn and Taunt. Also Inner Focus makes Fake out leads with less options.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 248 HP/228 Def/32 Spe
Nature: Bold
-- Thunderbolt
-- HP Grass
-- Heat Wave
-- Roost

Just a classic defensive Zapdos that we all know and love. Once I started using this thing it has been doing wonders. It can counter walls like skarm and hippowdon while still doing good against sweepers like Scizor, Gyrados and Lucario. This thing is great in many situations and with only 2 weaknesses he is very hard to take down. I felt this fit my team the best as a physical wall because I was lacking a solid counter to Scizor.

Snorlax @ Choice Band
Ability: Thick Skin
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Nature: Adamant
-- Fire Punch
-- Body Slam
-- Super Power
-- Pursuit

Choice Band Snorlax really is appealing to me and I thought is a great fit for my team. I chose Pursuit over crunch because most people will switch out pokemon that are weak to crunch against a snorlax like gengar, azelf, starmie, rotom forms, etc. So I decided to put pursuit over crunch expecting those pokemon to switch out when they see snorlax. Okay now for superpower. I mainly have superpower on there to hit heatran, empoleon, and ttar strong. I picked body slam over return because I like the chance to paralysis so I can out speed pretty much everything.

Tyranitar @ Babiri Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
Nature: Adament
-- Dragon Dance
-- Fire punch maybe I will switch it Aqua Tail
-- Stone Edge
-- Crunch

Well its Tyranitar. Overall I like the dragon dance ttar because after one DD it works wonders and without the restraint of choice band it can hit almost everything for at least neutral damage with a nice boost from the DD. I am debating if aqua tail is better option then fire punch for my team. But I am unsure. Aqua tail defiantly adds to my coverage and hits threats like Gliscor, Infernape, etc but Fire punch helps against steels, scisor and lucario. But I don't know what I need to cover more on this team. As of now Fire punch doesn't seem to needed because of Snorlax and Zapdos having heat wave/fire punch and I feel I have enough coverage versus Steel types. But I am not sure yet.

Slap Chop (Pinsir) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Atk/4 Def/252 Spe
Nature: Jolly
-- X-Scissor
-- EQ
-- Stonedge
-- Close Combat

Pinsir actually looked to me as a great choiced pokemon do to his attacks in his move pool, ability and base attack. He has a 125 Base attack which makes him a pretty strong while still having a decent Def stat. I put choice scarf over choice band to give him the speed so he can now out speed pokemon like Choice specs Laitas and many other OU pokemon. Also mold breaker lets him stop a lot of useful abilitys like Levitate, sand veil, snow cloak, wonder guard and more. Which can come in handy. I am mainly using him as a surprise element and his attack move pool.

Empoleon @ Petaya Berry
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 12 HP/12 Def/252 SpA/232 Spe
Nature: Modest
-- Surf
-- Ice Beam
-- Agility
-- Sub

Just basic late game sweeper sub petaya berry empoleon. He is definitely my favorite late game sweeper. Once you have gotten off one agility up there is not much you can do to stop it. After one agility it is fairly easy to get the petaya berry kicked in and then start sweeping. This guy fits my team nicely because it give me the much needed finisher.

Okay so what I think I am missing the most is SRs and it looks like I might get hurt by infernape pretty badly. I haven't had to much trouble with infernape as long as I have good predictions and switches and such.

I don't know if I really need SRs on this team but I think it would help out a
lot.

lemme know what you guys think

I really like the pinsar, but your team has a huge weakness on its hands to Choice Scarf TTar. That just sticks out at me. Really, any pokemon carrying Earthquake, Stone Edge, and Close Combat can sweep your entire team. Trouble is, those are 3 extremely common moves.

Your team dislikes status. Heracross gets STAB in Close Combat, and absorbs status and outclasses Pinsir, so go Heracross and help him stay OU.

Tyranitar should use Fire Punch over Aqua Tail. You're holding a Babiri Berry for a reason.

Why not use Expert Belt on Crobat if you're just worried about Machamp? That way you at least power up your U-Turn a bit as well against Azelf.

Babiri Tar absolutely HAS to have fire punch. You can't OHKO Scizor with a +1 Stone Edge without Stealth Rocks damage(or maybe you can but even if you could you'd be relying on a move that might miss) Fire Punch is a guaranteed OHKO, even without a boost. Just go with it.

252/228 Bold Zapdos' aren't as effective as the were when Platinum first came out. Stealth Rock alongside Zapdos' lack in Speed seal its fate more than often since Lucario can OHKO it after Stealth Rock damage (...or 13% on Zapdos which isn't hard to achieve) with Ice Punch. It should also be noted that outside of hyper offense teams, Lucario is commonly seen with Stone Edge since 216 Spd Jolly Gliscor and Choice Scarf Rotom-h are both common switch ins to it. If you're going to keep Zapdos, use 248 HP/184 Def/76 Spd with a Timid Nature. With that spread, Zapdos outplaces Adamant Lucario and can OHKO it with Heat Wave. Furthermore, this spread only takes a maximum of 63% from a +2 Extremespeed.

Stealth Rock is essential for every team =/. Replacing Crobat with Aerodactyl sounds like the way to go because of this:

I'd recommend running an Azelf lead over your current Crobat to get your Rocks up and avoid letting your opponent have theirs. Trust me, this team needs that so horribly badly, it's unbelievable. Also, getting TSPikes up is great for any AgiliPoleon team, so I'd recommend running Smogon's Nidoqueen OU Tank set over your current Tar, which just doesn't have the team support to do what it must. Also, use ScarfHera over Scarf Pinsir unless you've noticed FROM EXPERIENCE, NOT THEORYMON that Mold Breaker is so very vital. Even better would be a scarfer in the 105+ speed tiers, as you desperately need to check things that are trying to set up on your face. If you're adverse to that, at least get some Flying-neutral or SE priority on the team somehow. Perhaps a CB Scizor over Snorlax? Also, use the Zapdos spread 9Kplus1 mentioned. Lucario can come in on too much Choice-locked crap to not pack a solid check.

EPIC EDITTED IN CONCURRENCE MANEUVER!! Use Expert Belt over Sharp Beak on Crobat.

Anyhoo, good luck with your team!

If you feel a team absolutely needs stealth rocks don't suggest Azelf suggest Aerodactyl. In terms of "Will get stealth rocks up" it's the best choice. Terrible lead, but still the best taunt lead none the less.

Terrador, I like how you just told lil_b to change literally his whole team.

Except Empoleon.

You can't make SubPetaya Empoleon any more awesome than it already is.
Well, except for maybe SubLeichi Empoleon with Aqua Jet and Swords Dance. Maybe.

Just going to make note of something: SubPetaya Empoleon is **** these days since it only has two slots to attack with - bulky waters, phazers and Dragons sans Kingdra say "hi". Agility + 3 attacks ***** harder as a late game sweeper, it also doesn't require Empoleon to stay in and sacrifice 75% of its HP.
