Riivolution 3.0 help

I apologize if im posting this where I shouldn't be, but please excuse me as this is my first time posting something up on a forum-like place.

I have a 4 gb SDHC card and I'm trying to get 3.0. I had 2.6 but deleted literally everything that was on the SDHC card. I downloaded the homebrew wifi set for 3.0 and now I just need riivolution. I tried to use the riivolution that I had on my computer for 2.6 but some one told me (and it was pretty obvious) that it wouldn't work like that. So I found the riivolution for 3.0 that some one posted and downloaded it. It downloaded as like some white file... idk. but anyways I moved it to my sd card so I thought I was all set and ready with downloading the homebrew wifi set and having riivolution on the sd card, but riivolution is still not popping up when I open up my homebrew channel. what am I doing wrong? I just wanna play 3.0 ;_;

Are you using a riivolution 1.04. 1.05 doesn't work with brawl.
