This may have been mentioned before but I was just listening to some of the music on the Dojo and noticed that the Metroid music is called Boss Battle Music (ridley fight). Could this be any hint towards Ridley being a boss instead of playable( I really hope he is playable). Maybe it's just cause it's the boss music in the actual game...it could be some indication of ridley being playable or not though...discuss

This has been mentioned on numerous occasions.
The music is the music played in a Metroid game when fighting Ridley as a boss hence the name. It neither confirms nor deconfirms him as anything.

Bowser is a boss. I bet he has "boss" music. It could be similar with Ridley. All it confirms is that they recognize him.

So you know, you can't be talking about ridley on this board anymore. Fans of ridley became too crazy and spamed all the ridley boards so the moderators regretfully decided that they had to ban ridley threads. Now for even talking about ridley will give you a two-week ban without warning. The only way that ridley threads would come back is if he was announced to be in the game. I doubt that you knew this so the mods will probably only warn you and not ban.

As for Ridley topics, yes, we don't allow them on the forums due to the massive amounts of spam and flame that consistently resulted from them, both in the Ridley thread and others. We did instigate a "2-week temp ban" rule to prevent successive threads to being posted, but obviously it was a measure to prevent the fans rather than the casual user who probably didn't even quite realize the entire situation.
So, I'll close the thread, but if there's a music thread floating around, you could talk about it there (though I'm sure it's already been discussed and, as someone said, Bowser is a boss, yet is playable).
