hey dude, here's how you can format videos to make it easier

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOq-jonv0mQ#t=12m49s

This is how you would format the first link.
Like this, the video automatically jumps to 12:49 when someone clicks on the link.
Makes it easier for everyone.

Basically, add "#t=[minutes]m[seconds]s" to your youtube links to have this effect.

Good smashing!

2:00 in the morning johns.
Also, I am a lot better and more consistent now than when I recorded those videos
The side-b's are mis-timed turnaround lasers :urg:
I have since fixed that problem
Did I mention 2:00 a.m. johns? lol
I was snowed in at A$$'s house after Nemo for like 3 days. I mostly didn't sleep.
Can't wait to update this with some fresh recordings of actual good play
Thanks for the reply though!

I know what you mean, I recently learned how to turnaround laser aswell and for me, it worked wonderfully to just focus on hitting the stick and then pressing B. Also, in order to keep the speed when doing the laser you have to make sure you keep holding the control stick when you jump. I'd like to see an update

There's a few things that you need to be very good at to be a really good falco player. Lasers, shield pressure through solid tech skill and spacing, awesome combos, and avoiding being constantly gimped through good DI and recovery.
One thing I noticed about your videos was that you started your aerials too soon when attacking your opponents shield alot which got you shield grabbed alot. Falco getting shield grabbed is a no-no, cause that gets you 0-deathed or gimped or just general stupid stuff. Too avoid that try to use late nair's or dairs or whatever so that they don't end before you hit the ground and you won't get shield-grabbed if you shine afterwards. Also try to mix-up your shield pressure by shuffling multiple moves in his face, or using retreating moves like dairs to bait shield grabs if he keeps trying it, or shine grabbing and double shinning. Your goal is to make them permanently stay in their shield and not have a chance to even attack.
Also there were several times when you had an opportunity to shine OOS to start a combo or shine bair OOS to kill him when he misspaced a move. That's a really solid and safe choice and I like to use it alot to punish.
Other than that, pretty good, just keep making lier tiers cry until everyones eventually a space animal...then the fun begins.
