Reverting to previous Castle Siege?

I liked Castle Siege better without the jank middle transformation (I have no idea why they added it back). I wanted to change it back to the 3.02 version, so I just copied the STGEMBLEM.rel and module file to overwrite the new ones, and it didn't do anything but cause graphical glitches during transformations. Did I screw up somehow? How can I get the old version?

While I'm at it, can I take the Training stage off the random stage select? Because I had a better version overwriting it in 3.02, but it doesn't work in 3.5 anymore.

The second transformation was removed by code. I don't know what that code is, and I have had no luck finding it.

You need this code in your GCT.

Castle Siege Skips Walk-off part [Dantarion]
0494ADCC 38630002

You also need to use the module for the stage from the 3.02 version, should be okay just leaving the stage file alone.

Okay thanks.

I can't remember how to edit GCTs though. Could you remind me what I have to do?

the easiest way is with the newer brawlboxes. they can read both text and gct files. and have an added feature to remember codes you add. the other option is GCTedit, or another program by mewtwo2000 (think gctfusion or something like that) tho since brawlvault is down i have no idea where to get any of the tools. maybe someone can upload them for you. if i have time after work i'll upload a newer brawlbox.

How new? Because I have a couple versions of Brawlbox downloaded already. (I just can't remember which and I don't have my computer in front of me to look right now.)

I have Java downloaded but I don't see any .jar files in either GCT Edit or GCT Editor. Just a bunch of .class files.

When I try to add the code in GCT Edit, it gives me the error "Input code size must be divisible by 16."
Do it how Moydow mentions. First open your own GCT then export/save as a text. Then add the line of code into the text file. Save and open the text in GCT edit and save it as a GCT file. At this point, it should be set up.

i think brawlbox 0.69+ has the GCT editor (pretty sure 6.9 is also the most stable and most glitch free as of yet). its far far far easier then using those >.> i'll be getting wifi back on at home soon. i'll upload my tools for the people that need them. tomorrow hopefully Dx unless the company gives me grief about installing.

i'll give a brief run down if you happen to get it before i upload:

first open BB
go to tools>code manager
file>open PM GCT
then click new code and copy and paste the stuff you need to add
then just have to save.

the added bonus of using brawlbox is you can read BOTH .txt and .gct. and if you load a text file you can remember all codes. so when you load up a GCT with said codes in it, it will list them by name rather then a chunk of "unknown codes"
