What I'm asking about is how you can make a reversed version of an animation and also take one frame of it to use as another animation. The best example of this is the guard, guardon, and guardoff animations. Lloyd has a .chr0 only for guardon, but I thought it would be possible to reverse for guardoff and take the final frame for guard.

Would anyone mind explaining how this could be done?

Additionally, how would one attach a model or article to a specific bone? I'm wondering how to put the swords on Lloyd. There's two polygons that seem to have no use and there's also Wolf's Blaster and Blaster shadow for MDL0's.

On/Off topic:
Should I send you the red/blue swords or the ones with a common texture?

Both, for experimentation purposes. We may end up using the common ones if textures maps don't work out well. We're not entirely sure how the texture maps are going to work. Either the ones in Lloyd's brres will have no bearing on the swords or the texture map in the swords will take care of that.
