geez, i'm tired of living in the middle of nowhere. i hope i can take a trip for the holidays to a big city where all the smashing happens. i'm dying to face a variety of smashers to see how i match up.

Why don't you look in tournament listings
specificlaly for smash 64, there aren't any major tournaments that are not online besdies a few in canada, a few in califronia (once in a while), and some in other countires
If you want to play people in smash 64, go online and play p2p
