Returning to stage

Sorry, but im kinda new playing as Falcon. I've gotten pretty good except I have NO idea how to return to the stage once I've been knocked off. My friend usually plays falco. Most of the time it takes numerous tries to return and I only make it back up once he screws up on timing his attacks. BTW, I've tried sweetspotting.

Falcon Kick Jump Falcon Dive

Down B CS Up X or y Up B

Good Idea Keige, gave me another. Do what the pros do, when your on the legde quicky and lightly hit down then jump. (you should go a bit higher than the stage) then quickly press Forward A and KNEE his hide back to Topeka!!!!!!

Falcon's recovery really is horrible, so you have limited options. Double-jump -> up b is pretty much all you have to work with. You can get away with a falcon kick after the double-jump if you're knocked high enough; the falcon kick gives you your jump back. You can also wall jump around opponent if you're close enough to the edge.

If you can, go right under him, press Up+B, tech his attack, then press Up+B again to grab him. Never fails. Unless you can't tech lol. It's one of the most useful things to learn when dealing with Falcon's recovery.
