What I mean is, for returning characters that are basically the same ("If you think they’re all going to be the same as they have been, it’ll be rough for you." --Sakurai), will you use the GCN controller and have the same strategies? Like, he said Kirby was the only character that hadn't changed much. Will you use the same strategies for him?

P.S. Who thinks December third is too far away?

What he ment by Kirby ( I think) is that his visual style hasn't changed. If Falco still can SHL I'm plugging in the GCN controller and just rolling along. If the knee still is with Falcon I'm happy with GCN as well.

So far based on the videos and pictures of Link, most of his moves look the same (smashes/tilts)...but even if the gale boomerang and other TP items are used, I'm stickin with the GCN controller....

That is because it is. Several inches bigger.

As for me, I'll just adapt to the new stuff (though I'll be using the GCN WB for the most of the time), and try to get new strats. from all of the new things that I can find out.

Ignore this. I'm sorry. (I didn't erase the bottom one because I added something to it. I clicked go advance by accident, and then clicked QUICK REPLY. Sorry.)

I think you have a good point, but I'm pretty sure all the characters moves won't be changed THAT much. I was watching Mario in the trailers the other day, and it looks like he hasn't changed one bit. Me personally, I'm going to be using the Nunchuk and Wiimote, and I'll use GCN as a last resort, because I want to challenge myself, and I want this game to be completely new to me (and by saying that I guess you could say that I want a bunch of new moves and combos for each character too) . So yeh, my strategies for certain (if not all) characters are DEFINATELY going to change considering I'm not using the GCN Cont. But it really makes no difference to me because I'm going to treat this game like I've never played a Smash game before, I want it to be completely new (I mean, I'll know how to play and whatnot, but I'm going to make different combos and such from Melee) .
