Return of the Mini-Games

after todays post i begin to wonder weather we'll see board the platforms or the target contest
then i think, everygame they add in a new game....anyone have any thoughts on what they might be?

Hmm...it's too early to consider a general trend. I mean there's only been two games to look at. But it would be logical that they add more of them I suppose. Unfortunately, I have no imagination, so I have no clue as to what those could be...

i dont know......maybe they will acutally use the wii remote for a mini game. but maybe that would be to much of a hasslle if your playing on a gc controller. ( i know i will be) i dont know though sakurai suprises me with stuff like that. i mean look at how much he added to the sandbag mini game. i could not have thought of that stuff.

BtP and BtT are almost becoming a tradition so expect to see them. I personally feel that they're a waste of time, but are too timely to remove

There was a basketbrawl thread and I love the idea. I hope its in.

I agree with "FalcoFTW".
Maybe something where you need to dodge things while you are getting timed, but i guess we already kind of have that in the wario stage.

In the interview at the recent conference in San Fransisco (look it up on youtube) the Nintendo Rep said that their were a lot more modes not yet shown and that the Dojo would be updating them until February.

Know what mode I want them to keep working on? I'll give you a hint: It's NOT a mode that people play three times and throw it to the side.

Watch the minigames be crucial to unlocking characters like they are in Melee.

Event matches were good but not much replayability and I totally agree the modes they add should increase replayability not just feel tacked on

perhaps a subspace enemy mode, face constant waves of subspace enemies (similar to multiman melee only with more varied enemies which will be taken directly from the adventure mode)

It's most likely that it'll happen. Along with the Board the Platforms. I missed that in SSBM.

Sports minigames like the ones in Mario Party would be fun. Tennis would be nice but not possible.

What? Like the Party Mode from Sonic and the Secret Rings? And I could see a Sports mode, similar to Wii Sports.

You know HAL Laboratory will probably look back at Kirby Superstar and say,"I like the Arena mode in that game, let's put in something like that into Brawl?" Next thing you know there will be a Smash Arena mode where you fight a series of subspace lackies, probably a boss or two, while beating your best time. They'll even throw in co-op.

But let's see if Sakurai makes it happen=D

I have been thinking of "destroy the car". If i remember correctly, it was seen in street fighters. You had to damage a car as much as possible.
a return of btp would be nice! Meta and other gliders will own that mode

i was thinking in terms of what we've seen, but all the mini games are random, no trend....its online so that might also play into it....

edit:how about something with the motion sensor (since thats how Wii operates)

I want to see a ridiculous Snake mini game. Sorta like the Skateboarding and Snake vs. Monkey.

Honestly, it's too early to even think about it...but I think BtT should return...

Oh and Megaman X should be in the final slot.
