I recently picked up Retro Game Challenge for the DS, and I love it. In the game, a digital version of Game Master Arino sends you back in time to the 80s where you meet Arino as a kid. You have to complete challenges for various 8-bit games, many of which are reminiscent of actual games of the 80s. All of the games are well-made, fun, and challenging. Throughout the game, kid Arino buys Gamefan magazines. In these magazines you'll find cheat codes, tips, and coverage on games that are already out or on games to come. I had a blast with this game, and couldn't put it down until I beat it. It's definitely worth $20 for a new copy of this game. I urge everyone to check it out. There is a second one already out in Japan, but a US release is improbable due to the sales of the first. I bought my copy used since I didn't have enough money to pay for the game new plus tax, but I plan to buy a new copy in the near future. I'm going to keep this one sealed. I'm thinking it's going to become a hidden gem as the years go by once the DS is no longer produced.
