Retexturing FOD

Apologies if this has been discussed before


but fod lags with 4 players. we all know this. i assume this is due to the immense ammount of processing to do the ray-tracing to draw the reflections.

is it possible to retexture the fountain so that it doesnt do that?


i'm assuming there's no simple texture file for the fountain's water, but maybe there's a timer for when it re-traces that we could get at? alternatively, could we modify the texture to all black and hope the BFC stops the cube from trying to do the tracing
