Results freeze

My first clone working great, I made a sonic clone for shadow and he plays fine. You just cant finish the match cause it will freeze. I followed every step for the results what gives? Sonic clone has every entry just like my marth clone. I dunno what's going on.

Do you have all the stock icons in place and named correctly?

Do you have all entries in InfStockface_TopN__0? Do they have the correct FrameIndex, Texture and Palette?

I'm pretty sure, I'm gonna wipe it clean and try to add shadow by himself. That way I know, The frameindex may have been messed up.

Hmmm seems to sill freeze, i don't know why. It the shadow i got does come with files for it if it cause freezing but it doesn't say what for. And by the way what tells which mark a character uses? I just want to use Sonics without importing a mew emblem.

edit he seems to use Sonics anyway.

How big is your STGRESULT.pac? I believe 691 kb is the limit for that, go over and it freezes. Changing compression type on 2 to ExtendedLZ77 might help.

The mark should already be Sonic's if you made a Sonic clone. If it's not, open Cosmetic##.dat (whichever is Shadow's), and change byte 0x14 (fifth byte on the second line) to 12 (Sonic series ID).

it says 639, i've been looking around and it other people have had problems with shadow freezing. It's Slient Dooms shadow.

it says 639, i've been looking around and it other people have had problems with shadow freezing, well i just went over to kc-mm and just got the Shadow over donkey, but donkeys rel doesn't have a section 8?
REL porting is redundant in BrawlEx, unless you really don't like DK. Just take the FitDonkey files, rename them FitShadow, and set up a Sonic ExModule and the config files as you would for any other clone.

Well i was going to see if that was gonna change weather he froze or not, but they the the same judging by the vids. So i can keep my sonic clone really.
