Reserving Games

Hey all. Sorry about mentioning Smash in here, but I don't think this is really Brawl discussion.

My friend pre-ordered (or reserved, if you prefer) SSBB at Gamestop. He paid for it in full along with the reserve price and gave me the receipt for my b-day. xD He wasn't 100% sure, but he said that all I have to do is go to Gamestop on the day of release and they'll just give me my copy.

Anyone know if this is true?
