Request: Auto Inputs

Hi SB,
I have a request having to do with inputs. To preface this question, I'm playing on a homebrew Wii, running PM 3.6. The only thing I want to be able to do is add some sort of mod that allows me to use one button to emulate pressing X+R. Basically, a wavedash without directions added to it. Maybe somewhere in the settings screen where you can change your controller mapping. Obviously each character has a different wavedash length and distance. It would be a tedious process, but it wouldn't ever have to be done again once it's created. I understand this is quite a project but I would really like it to come to fruition, let me know if anyone can help.

P.S. I don't participate in competitive play, just with my friends in the afternoons. I don't intend to cheat in tournaments or anything.

While I have no idea how to create what you've looking for, I do know some tricks for making wavedashing easier, especially for causal play.

One option is to use the Wifi safe version of PM. This version does not does register a difference between light press and hard press on the triggers, which lets you airdoge (and thus wavedash) with lightpress. I've found it to be much easier on the hands.

Another option is to make an easy modification to your controller. Open it up (you may need one of those funny 3-pronged screwdrivers that a lot of Nintendo products use) and remove the spring under the trigger that you use to wavedash. This basically disables the lightpress functionality, and causes the trigger to give you less resistance when you hardpress. Since the people I play with prefer hardpress wavedash, I have done this, and I have found it to be pretty comfortable.

What is the wifi safe version of PM? I've never heard of that.

Presumably it's a version designed for online play, but I've never used it for that- I just liked the lightpress wavedash. =D I've been told you can enable wifi safe mode in the "addons" menu in the launcher, but that never worked for me, so here's how to turn it on manually:

You need to replace 4 files on your SD card. They are: "RSBE01.gct" , (located in the "codes" folder), "mu_menumain.pac", "sc_selcharacter.pac", and "sc_selcharacter2.pac", (all located in "projectm/pf/menu2").

The replacement files are already on the SD card in a zip file named "wifi.7z", found in "projectm/launcher/addons"."

This works beautifully, thank you <3 Still, would be really amazing to find someone who could emulate multiple inputs with one button on the console.
