I'd eliminate EA and THQ from the count; the former has gone on record that they won't support the Wii U and the latter has been dissolved and all their former IPs have been auctioned off to different companies. Atari and Take Two seem obscure and would not have a rep from a big enough series to fit around Smash (I only recognize GTA as a possiblity, and that's highly unlikely.)

Anyways, I'll bet:

Ubisoft: Rayman
Activision: Captain Price (*shrugs*)
Namco Bandai: Pac-Man (As much as this will sicken me, the cards are playing right for him this time around.), Lloyd Irving, Klonao
Square Enix: The Chosen (Black Mage, White Mage, Thief, Fighter. Functions similar to Pokemon Trainer), Sora

Not bad, THQ did have Crypto from Destroy All Humans, but I don't know who owns that IP now that THQ is lying 6 feet under, it is really hard not to mention EA because of Madden (Shame on you, NFL, for picking EA's inferior product over 2K's amazing NFL 2K5). But at least EA isn't as bad as *dramatic song* LJN

Namco Bandai and Square Enix are who you want to bet on. Both are relevant and have many IPs with history on Nintendo.

EA is just money-hungry and stupid in general. Their IPs are pretty lame too, especially Madden and Battlefield. Also, they might be tacking on how the Wii U presents many weaknesses in power and for developing games and engines, but they seem to be blowing it out of proportion in most areas. Remember Valve trashtalking Sony with the PS2?

Heh, LJN made license games, got picked up by Acclaim, which also died. :p

Still up Peach's dress.
Ubisoft: Rayman. No question.
Activison: Spyro. Or Crash.
Take Two: Claptrap(Borderlands)
EA: Faith (Mirror's Edge) Better than a frigging EA Sports character or a Sim.
Namco: Pac-Man
Atari: Some X-COM character I guess(I can't recall any sort of mascot for this company)
THQ (RIP): Saints Row Boss(yeah I know they can look, be anything, but they do have artwork of the standard boss)
Square Enix: Black Mage. Or White Mage. Or Ninja. Or Moogle. Or a Chocobo. Anyone but frigging Sora or Cloud(who are primarily Sony based) or Geno.
