Reps Emulinker Server offline

I asked Replica why is the server offline again and He/She told me that He/She won't be hosting the kaillera server anymore.

So, is there anyone interested in hosting a smash64-oriented emulinker server in the UK?

Because many EGX players kick you when they see that you have +100ms of ping even when you have no lag spikes.

And it's really annoying to play with 11frames of delay <_<

just make alz or that lugista one or whatever it's called the new home for euro smash. Hardly ever see anyone in there tho, but hopefully people will start going in there

Never saw u in reps anyways nixxxon XD. Yeah we need to get people back online and into one of those servers, so annoying people assume because u have 101 ping or whatever in unit X u lag when half the time they lag more than u! Nevermind. I got quite a few msn's of euro players so i'll start speakin to people and telling them to frequent those euro servers so we can pick up the euro 'scene' again (although there is about 15/20 max of us who play)

huh, we played some weeks ago lol. I always was on Reps when it was online. It was always the one with lowest ping. I was on hidden names because nubs didnt want to play me.

And yes, there are some servers that have low ping like Alz.ath.cz, Ratzer's Lustinger, ArcadeZentrum... Most of them are in that last one although very few play SSB.

Ah I see, I do remember playing you, but the hidden name explains why I didn't see you around much XD. Anways, yes there aren't many ssb players in those servers ever but the point is we need to start getting the euro smash players into them. I guessing it's more a case of just organising to play with someone on msn or whatever then meeting them there and anyone else gettin lucky and stumbling across a game when they are checking those servers. I'll PM u my msn so we can sort out playing some more, I still play most nights of the week (usually very late) so we can play in one of those servers with less delay than unit X.

Yep several severs almost empty and one with a lot of people that is ArcadeZentrum that got most of the people that used to go on Reps. Yesterday I found several people playing smash at BIONIC.

It has something to do with the WIC (world internet central) you have in America... I think everything goes through there, is it possible?

You should probably have more than 130ms

If you have no bandwidth hungry programs running it's normal to play without lag spikes

I play well in EGX, but some players kick me when they see my ping.

Notice:

high ping = high delay <> lag spikes

lol, it also depends on your ISP's international carrier

Some spanish ISP go straight to America, and others go to France - Germany - UK and then to America.
