When you use the report function on for glory, it only reports their Miiverse account, right?

I'm assuming it does but just specifically Smash Online and not other services. If you were reporting someone on Smash 4 on their NNID I presume they will have some penalty or time restraint on just that account for Smash 4 if that made sense.

Never heard of that, I only know of Miiverse being penalized

Couldn't tell you. I never really hear anyone talk about the button at all

I haven't talked to anybody that I reported since I also block them so I don't risk facing them again. I assume it isn't because you don't need a Miiverse profile in order to play online.

I think it likely reports your Mii as well as your friend code/NNID, though that is just my assumption. If anybody knows for sure, feel free to correct me.

Presumably the same thing that happens on any site/game that has a reporting feature: nothing, then suddenly a ban once the reports pile up.

Is there a way to report people outside the game?

I just got stuck with a griefer who constantly just floated around the stage and SD'd as game & watch for multiple games in a row (as the oh so wonderful game decided to plop me on his team every ****ing time. Seriously, this needs to be fixed. It keeps putting the same players on the same teams every ****ing time, and when its a griefer, it really ruins the game)

Just so people know, you can report a player on the results screen by tapping on their character, I believe.
