For anyone that has the Japanese version of the game how do replays work? Are they exactly like brawl or are there a few changes?

Well this video has the menu itself, dunno if they removed the time limit though. Both the matches are less than 3 minutes.

EDIT: Actually, here a replay that's longer than 3 minutes, so at the least they extended the time limit.

Thanks dude. I have been wondering about this since the game was released! I am glad the time limit is less restrictive. I couldn't find any info on this anywhere.

Yeah I've been wanting to know the details too, but no one seems to want to talk about them. Hopefully the time limit is at least 5 minutes since thats the default time in for glory mode.

I would expect the limit to be at least 5 minutes for that very reason. I've heard people say that it's unlimited, but I don't know if they've actually tested long matches; they might have just saved one that was longer than 3 minutes and stopped because it was longer than Brawl. People should test it with an 8 minute match, which is realistically the longest match that people will play if they stil with a Brawl-esque ruleset.
