Replays malfunctioning

Whenever I save a replay and then watch it, the replay is messed up, in that it doesn't accurately reflect what actually happened. I.E. when I watch a replay of a match I JUST played, it shows me running off the stage and suiciding randomly/throwing out random attacks at nothing when I know this didn't happen. So I guess it's acting like the version of the game I had loaded when I played the match is different from the one that I had when watching the replay.

I thought this was a known issue, but after looking at the list of known glitches, I guess it's just me. Any ideas?

Replays only work on the Wifi codeset.
The offline version has hard-press shielding and c-stick buffering, which desyncs replays and wifi.

And it is a known issue
