Replays: Be ready for your own "worst of"-compilation

With the new patch Nintendo allows us to upload replays to public servers, including your own nick, your opponents nick, and a commentary. You are also able to look up which replays with you other people uploaded. So far, so good.

But think about it. Which replays will other players upload from you. Those in which you look good? Of course not. If you play 10 times against an opponent and win 9 games of them, which replay will your opponent most likely save? Got it?

Be ready to find all your worst moments saved: The one where you got stage-spiked by Ganondorf with 20%, or the one where your shield broke by shielding a backwards falcon punch. Or even if you won, they can use replays for johns, like "laggy game" or "such a spammer!!!1".

For a company which censores the word "after" because it is the medicinal term for "ass" in german (like "Vagina" etc.), it is surprisingly naive to enable people to upload replays, including the opponents name, in public. What were they thinking?

"Hoo-Hah Spammer" will be the name of every replay...

Does it really matter though? You know that you beat your opponent confidently, and if they get a lucky win so be it. You aren't trying to impress the masses, you are trying to be the best you can be. If they post a replay of you losing the match with a less than appropriate comment, they're just trying to save face. You know for a fact that they were a scrubby bad player.
