actually that sounds like a really good idea, I donno about the memory though, but it would be really cool if u can actually transfer it onto the computer, that way people dont need fancy stuff anymore to record tournaments.

That's a really cool idea.Maybe save it onto a memory card,or able to access it from Opera on your Wii in some easy fashion.Mayb ehave a replay save storage and upload from there or something.

I'd enjoy that, for sure. You'll be able to record some of your l33t matches. I don't think I'd care if you wouldn't be able to transfer them, just on the Wii would be great.

That would be cool if you want to send it to someone.

I'd think it would be sweet to have a Replay on matches similiar to that which i used in the halo 3 beta. And smash bros would be easy because there is only one camera angle you need to see it from. A replay with a pause, slow-motion, fast forward and rewind would be welcomed by the entire Smash audience hands down.

This has been mentioned before, and I still think it's a great idea if you could somehow save certain portions of matches. But since the Wii has a very small amount of storage, I doubt you could save much unless they release some sort of memory expansion...

it'd b a cool aspect, especially if your friend raises a "I beat you more than you beat me" argument. then you can go to the tapes. also, with USB ports on teh wii, its possible for the vids to b transfered wether that is built n or not.

I would love to see a replay system but the memory would be a problem.

Here's a link to the previous thread.

The highlights from that thread were this:

Instant replays would be especially good, right after a match or during a match while paused. The replays should be Madden style, with the ability to rewind and fast forward, but also to change the angle we are seeing the action at.

Also, memory shouldn't be a problem. Like a lot of game do already, instead of saving a movie file, the game could just save all the information: what buttons players pressed and when, when items showed up, what pokemon came out of pokeballs, etc., and execute a perfect replay with very little memory taken up. That way, the replay can be viewed again at any time.

Basically, an instant replay feature ala Madden would be awesome in Smash, because no other game provides so many CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!/DID YOU JUST SEE THAT!! moments.

Madden has had the feature for over ten years. It should be in Smash this time around.

I guess but still it would take up aton of memory and those cards don't take much before they are full.
