So, I have a 32GB SD card with plenty of memory left, around 50,000 blocks or so. With that in mind, I thought I'd be able to save a crap load of replays and for a long time it felt like that. However, after hitting around 60 replays or so, I was no longer able to save any more of them, even with plenty of room left on my SD card. I'm not sure if a thread like this is poking around on Smashboards but I thought I'd let everyone know just in case they were curious. ^_^

Is there a limit to how the long a single match must be in order to be recorded? With Brawl it had to be 3 mins or less, yes? Is there a limit for this game too?

Thus far the limit varies depending on the replay. Some users have reported the longest match records 9 minutes, others 15-16 minutes.

I'm going to test that later tonight and let you know for sure what the limit is. I'll try clearing up my replays first, just in case that somehow affects the limit.

I have a 5min replay so if there is a time limit its longer than that. FG Lucario Mirror match that timed out and went to sudden death.

I wouldnt doubt it if they have a replay limit. Nintendo probably coded it with the internal memory in mind and had no intentions of external memory (SD cards).

So for me, it looks like the replay limit is somewhere between 17-18 minutes, which is amazing! ^o^

I tried 20 minutes but the replay option didn't appear so it looks like 17-18 minutes is the sweet spot for me for replay times.

Oh awesome! Thanks! That's much longer than I expected! So any competitive match can be saved!
