Replacing Green Hill Zone Texture bug?

Hey guys,
I'm trying to create a Lost Woods version of Green Hill Zone, and I'm actually pretty near done. But the texture on the side of the stage is freaking out on me! The original texture also acts out and I have no idea how to fix it!
The funky thing about it is, that the "shadow" part and the "top" part of the same texture are working, but the middle just goes black.

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

Hmm... If you let me take a look at the files I might be able to discern what the issue might be.

OK, found the problem, and I have to leave so I don't have time to give you a version with the changes just yet. This should work: Move all models except MainStage from ModelData[2] to ModelData[1]. Then, reimport the moving shadow object from the original green hill 3.6 into your ModelData[2] (This is an unrelated thing, but it will give the moving platform shadows). Hopefully this should work!

If it doesn't, I can help more tomorrow!

WOOOH! Your a Wizard! thank you so much!
Though it seems to have spawned a weird problem, the waterfall in the background somehow takes priority over the lost woods? It just kinda overrules it, I tried deleting polygons finding the waterfall, replacing the water texture with a blank one, to make it go away. I might just be blind or tired but I can't seem to make it go away. Any ideas stage-wizard? :)
Hmmm and the moving shadow thing didn't work for me, when you say object, do you mean object or model?

Glad to hear it worked!

As for the moving shadow, I mean model (sorry, bad wording), and for the waterfall try finding and editing its bone animation to make it as far away as possible, if that's an option. Never try deleting polygons from brawlbox, it only leads to glitches from my experience.
If my animation idea doesn't work, try moving the models you moved earlier to either modeldata[100] or [101] (I forget which one works better for this sort of thing, I think one or the other causes glitches, so it should be a last-ditch effort)

Thanks for all the help! It worked! Though that was my go-to move as well. I just wasn't sure what bone to move so I just ended up moving all bones except the platform :p
As for the shadow, it's still not there, but it's not a bug I can't live with :)
One question though, how did you figure you had to move all the models? I'd really like to get a better understanding of this ^^

Pure trial and error. I took a clean green hill zone and implemented changes from your version one by one. The textures by themselves worked, but as soon as I implemented the background objects I got the same glitch you did, so I tried moving them somewhere else and it fixed the glitch. I don't really know the specifics of why it works or what caused the glitch, but there's my method.

Haha, whoops! Will fix it right away! : ) Thanks for telling me!
I'll see what I can do about Skullkid ; )

edit: Jeez! I may have been a little quick on the release! I even missed a flower comming out of the ground at about 500 frams into the animation : $
