Renting Space

Hello there. I was wondering if anyone knew about renting space for a tournament. I don't have a stable place to run any kind of tournament (not necessarily Smash Bros.). Does anyone know of how or where I should look for place to rent, or what are the usual venues to rent. How much will it cost me? Are there any usual terms? Anything I should know of.

Any help is appreciated. Also, sorry if this is in the wrong board.

It depends on the place you ask about. Some give a price per hour... That's no good. YMCA would be like $65 per hour for the SMALLEST CLASSROOM. That's $780 for 12 hours.

It's better for a place with a flat rate. Try to look for $200-$300. But for a very small tourny, look for alot cheaper.

You would have to create the terms and present it in a professional manner. (the times, cost, space you would need, equipment, etc)

So just type up a contract of sorts. Don't try to be all fancy. Remember, college-level is key.
