I remember when we all thought that Lucas would have his own unique moves. One was Hypnosis, the other was PK Love, the other was PK Freeze, and the last was the Rope Snake. All of those moves made it (save hypnosis), but Lucas is still a Ness clone.

They are only clones in the sense falco and fox are clones in melee. Similar ideas but completely different execution when it comes to gameplay.

Don't get me wrong. I love Lucas (points to sig). But, I just thought that the moves I listed would have been kick ***!

I don't know. I don't see Ness being able to pull off the super awesome PK Freeze/PK Love combo. And how the HELL is he a clone? Completely different A moves. Like Wolf to Fox actually.

Completely different characters. The only things that are the same are their moves, but that's IT. They play differently. Lucas is quicker and has better aerials, while Ness is an overall harder hitter and can stun better with PK Fire.

An honestly sincere question for you. Have you played Brawl?

How could you possibly call them clones? That's like calling mario and luigi clones. And just because they're from the same game doesn't mean anything cuz kirby and metaknight are from the same game, too.

Stick with Ness. He will always be better. I know this will start an argument about how lucas is so much better... but he's not. If you wanna take up an argument, come onto my turf. The ness forums. bwahahaha. But ya... if you played Ness in melee, it would probably be a better choice to stick with him.

They are similar characters from a similar game with a similar look. Did you expect the moves to be much different?
