That may be truth for the 3DS version, but I think the Wii U version will need a supplementar year.

I think that they will announce the release date at the same time they showcase whatever they are doing at E3 and I believe the 3ds and Wii U will launch on the same day.

When sakurai said he wants a big unveiling more than just screens I thought the same. A release date is close.
