regular tourny's almost always empty [The Netherlands]

hey,

So i've been looking into tourny's because FG 1on1 has been getting a bit boring lately, so i wanted to see how this tournament stuff goes down, only to find 1/8 or 2/16 rooms being joinable.

No way to change the list, no way to choose other, more filled rooms....is this doomed to fail for me? or is this normal? can i fix this? should I move to another freaking country?
