Regarding the adapters...

Obviously there's something I'm not understanding here. Why is it so difficult for nintendo to produce more adapters with all the demand? I've hear that they actually get them from some 3rd party that stopped making them, but is that an excuse when they could easily produce them themselves? I really do NOT want to whip out $140 just to get the adapter and 4 uses controllers on GameStop's website and I absolutely won't spend an absurd amount of money on eBay for an item the retails at $19.99! Really, I just need somebody to explain why nintendo is having such a hard time making these adapters and I think it's ridiculous that they haven't shown up in time for the holidays.

They just didn't expect the GC adapters to sell so well, so they only made a few of them. They now have to respond to this huge demand by making at least 5 times the amount of Adapters, which takes a while.

I see... On that note. I'm appalled that they didn't anticipate smash 4 selling as well as it did. Hopefully there won't be much longer of a wait. Thanks

They did anticipate Smash 4 selling well, what they didn't anticipate is how many people want to play with Gamecube controller since they think 99.9% of its players are families who play with Wiimotes.
