Tier lists are kept simple, though sometimes they have Zelda/Sheik in addition to separate Zelda and Sheik entries due to players who restricted themselves to just one or the other.

Every mix of Mii Specials and Height/Weight would be considered and then counted as a single "type" (Brawler, Gunner, Swordfighter) and ranked in regards to their highest potential.

I'm going to guess Swordfighter would be the lowest ranking of the three though, as not much is being done with the character AND due to character limitation/matchups. Gunner and Brawler seem to have the highest potential in their matchups, imo.

Normally, I believe, people rate them on their ideal effectiveness, since they can use any customs regardless of whether Customs are enabled or not. Similarly, the preferred Brawler seems to be Small and Short.

So far, brawler is generally considered the best of the three, with gunner being somewhere lower-mid, and swordfighter as the worst in the game, even worse than the rest of the cast. See http://smashboards.com/threads/swf-...8th-11th-december-3-votes-from-now-on.379736/ for my source. Of course, this is dynamic and community-voted, it could change in the future.
