Smash Wii U Regarding GameCube Controller Adapters...

Obviously many people are frustrated that they are unable to get the GameCube controller adapters for the Wii U. But making a million threads complaining isn't going to help you get one any sooner. I know it sucks. It sucks that Nintendo didn't see the higher demand coming and didn't ship enough over to the US.

The only thing you're able to do at this point though is be patient. Watch GameStop, Amazon, BestBuy, etc. for the time being. Like I already said, making a million threads isn't going to make your adapter come any sooner. There is no point in raging about it. If you're really upset about it send in a (constructive) complaint to Nintendo. Other than that there really is nothing else you can do.

Playing the game with a Classic Controller, Pro Controller, or even the GamePad really isn't that bad. It's not what we're used to but it's only for the time being and it's worth it to play such a beautiful and well-designed game like Super Smash Bros. Don't let the controller you have to use get in the way of enjoying the new game.

It just makes no sense how they could be selling all these gamecube controllers, yet no adapter to go with them. Like why the f*** would I want to buy a controller that I can't even f**king use!

That's only in NTSC regions. You can still get them in PAL regions. Since the adapters are not region locked maybe getting a stand alone one from a PAL region shipped to you is an option.

I wouldn't have been as upset if I could play with the 3ds controls in single and online mode, the game pad is far from being a good option and the same goes for the classic controller, having a symmetrical analog sticks is bad design for a controller that's why the xbox and GameCube controller are my go to controllers. It's kind of baffling because it's one of the big things they advertised with the game, the biggest at fault are the retailers they let people buy multiple at a time, an employee at best buy told me that's the main reason they sold out so quickly. This gives me another reason to hate 8 player smash
