Regarding Custom Song Volume and Stagelist Codes

I figured I'd just make a thread since what I'm asking kinda belongs equally into two other threads.

I have a question regarding using the custom song volume codes in combination with a customized stage list. I'm in the process of making a big ol' music pack, and it's almost entirely done. I'll just need to go in and adjust a couple volumes here and there (Melee stages, probably). Since I'm also rocking the custom stage list for my local scene, I was wondering how to go about combining them.

I know both things require specific codes, so I'm thinking I can use the GCT Fusionizer program and squish the two codeset files together once I'm done all the song adjustments (Which I'd do through the song manager). This basically makes my question: Will that work?

I'm concerned because, since I don't know a lot about the custom stage list setup (I've read the thread, but I didn't actually put ours together so I'm not 100% sure what's all changed), I'm not sure if I'll run into a problem with customized music-specific Mu_menumain (or what-have-you) and info.pac files, or if it's only a matter of slapping some custom music stuff into the codeset that's already there.

I intend to release the pack in its entirety when it's finished, without any custom stage list attached to it, I'm just also trying to make it as simple as possible for anyone in my scene who would want it before I go much further than where I'm at now.

Any and all responses are much appreciated.

If you were to create a codeset that consisted primarily of the volume code, and fused that to your .gct with the expansion in it, then yes it should work.

Okay, that's good to know. I think I might have had an epiphany though. Brawl Song Manager would have to be able to read a codeset file in order to store your volumes when you opened it up for next time, correct? If so, then I should just be able to place the current code file (with the stage list code), into the appropriate spot, and then write the volume codes through Song Manager straight into that file, right? Which seems a lot simpler than attempting to mix things in the first place. Unless it just creates the new codeset outright no matter what you do. In which case I'd have to revert back to plan a. I'm pretty much just gonna try it this way to start off regardless, so I guess I'll find out.
