I don't know if this topic was ever discussed, but here is what I was thinking. Do you think it's possible that characters that can reflect attacks can avoid and reflect back final smashes, such as Mario and Samus's final smashes? In example, if Samus were to use her final smash and Fox uses his down-B would he avoid being damaged. Plus, if Lucas were to use his down-B, would he be able to absorb all the damage?

Final Smashes can be made to go around that sort of stuff e.g. Fox's Reflector doesn't work against Peach's Bob-Ombs.

It has been discussed, and it's been proven through demo testing that Final Smashes cannot be reflected/guarded against. And I would assume that Lucas would not be given that big of an advantage with his down-B.

EDIT:

Hi, Ankoku!! :)
