So... Ness Boards, I have homework for you guys and gals.

We all know Ness' forward smash increments reflected projectiles for like 1.5 or something like that, but...

How can someone explain a Gordo to go from dealing its base damage up to 125% and being a one hit KO bullet?

I actually saw a video very similar to this, except that video was on 3DS. I think they explained, but I can't remember. It had something to do with the angle and sweet spot I believe.

Pretty sure there's a mad fast game of tennis taking place between Dedede and Ness, reflecting the Gordo and multiplying its strength many times in a very short time span.

Watching the video in slowmo, it appears that Ness reflected the Gordo BEFORE D3 actually hit it with his hammer.

D3's max Gordo Damage is 14%.
Ness reflects it back while its in the throwing animation. This makes its hitbox Ness', but it's not touching D3.
D3 hits it back with his Side-B animation.
Ness' Fsmash, while still in hitlag, hits the Gordo back again because its not his hitbox anymore.

I'm not sure what the multiplier for reflects is, but if you assume:
Ness reflects for 2x (Using a reflector)
D3 reflects for 1.5x (Using a strong attack)
Ness reflects it for 2x, then 1.5x (Using both a reflector and a strong attack)
You end up with 126%. Pretty close.

As for the knockback, if something does 125% damage then I can assure you it will kill stupidly fast.
