Recovering on Smashville/Town and City

The lip of the stage makes it very difficult for me to recover. I also frequently end up under the stage or to far to the center of the stage to recover well. Another major issue I have is hitting the lip of the stage, bouncing off and then immediately having my second PK Thunder eaten by the lip.

How exactly are you ending up under the stage in the first place? I think you may just need to work on safer recovery in general. Typically speaking, you want to recover without using PKT2 unless you really have to. Save your DJ and use it as late as you can if possible. This will prevent you from getting gimped under the stage. Then just aim carefully for the ledge, not the walls around it. Don't try to bounce into walls at max distance either, that'll make bounce recovery impossible at times.

Generally speaking, being under the stage with no DJ as Ness is probably death. Just don't let it happen.

Quick tip for SV. If you're hanging on the ledge and the platform is near you, you can let go and DJ directly onto the platform.
