Hi everyone, I'm going to be setting up a dvd recorder to my wii later this morning. First I'm going to test with a reply of me playing a comp and see if I can just take the file directly from the dvd or if i need to mess around with formats and stuff.

But anyways I know theres a lot of stuff I need to improve on in my game, so I want to post some vids here to get some much needed critiquing. So if anyone doesn't mind being recorded and can play later this afternoon or evening send me a pm or tell me here and tell me when you'll be available to play.

*Update*

Okay I just need to restart my computer every time I want my dvd drive to read something different :(. But I got a different and better program that lets me convert any length vid and change the quality. I hope no one minds lower quality vids for now since I'm running out of space on my comp and need to back it up and wipe it. So yeah I can record and upload now, but if anyone has any solutions to me having to restart my comp, that would be very helpful.

I won't be able to play much this week, but feel free to hit me up on AIM sometime next week.

You probably won't just be able to grab a file off the DVD but will need to convert the whole thing to another format. There's plenty of software out there to do that for you, though.

Well I managed to rip, convert and upload a vid to youtube. But now I don't know if it's my dvr or computer thats being gay, because no matter what I do my dvd drive keeps bringing up the same stupid vid. Btw I'm using a dvd+rw and I've erased and recorded a different match with the dvr and I can watch it over again on the dvr but when I put it in my comp its the same stupid vid. Then I tried another disc, surely that should work... not. WHY? This is really aggravating me. Can anyone enlighten me as to to what I'm doing wrong? Also I need to test whether or not I can convert more than 3 mins, which is a whole different problem which I can't test unless I get my dvd drive to actually pick up vids different than the first one. So yeah help would be very much appreciated.
