i have a good feeling that im in the wrong section, but i couldnt i find where else SO that brings me to this question: For good recording set-ups(To record the matches and commentation) how much in total would that come out to in money? (like an estimate), and secondly, what should i be looking for?

This could probably go in the Technical Issue sticky thread, but given as this is not an issue it's completely understandable why you wouldn't post there - so you're fine.

You're looking for a capture card, which will transfer composite to USB. The price range will generally be around $30-70, depending on the quality, but possibly less. The cards usually come with software, so that generally isn't an issue, but keep in mind that you do need the software if you buy something used. I'm not very familiar with what's best, but I hear Dazzle being used frequently.

Use VirtualDub for capture software

(I'll update this post later with better detail)
