How do I record them Free or not?

I would like to post vids of techs and stuff

You need a capture card, which you plug the video/audio cords into (with a splitter that also runs to the TV) and then plug the capture card into the computer where a program will pick up the capture card's signal and convert it into a video file.
Try getting a Dazzle Capture Card.

Make sure you don't get an HD capture device. Your console does not output HD signal and the converters you will need are both uselessly expensive and potentially lag-inducing.

I have a roxio component capture card, it has throughput so you don't need a splitter. It was 50 bucks on sale.
ALSO if you have a fast enough computer you can emulate melee and P:M on dolphin, stick in a USB-GC converter and play smash in HD.

this is the roxio, it's on sale right now. It looks and sounds fantastic. Don't buy the HD version.
