So i recently got a Wii-U (the Super Mario 3D World bundle) and the only games I have at the moment are Super Mario 3D World, Nintendo Land, Hyrule Warriors and Smash Bros. I plan on getting Captain Toad and Mario Kart soon but i want some recommendations on good games for the Wii-U that would be worth buying. I'm very open-minded so I'll try an type of game!

Thanks in advance! :kirby:

I REALLY enjoyed Wonderful 101, and you should be able to find it fairly cheaply (saw it today for about 30 bucks). If you like action games (especially by Platinum), I'd recommend it.

I've also heard good things about Bayonetta 2, which is from the same company, but I've only played the original.

Rayman Legends. It's a really fun game, especially if you have a second person to play with.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is really good. Also, just a note, Platinum has a lot of key people from Clover Studios (the people who made Viewtiful Joe and Okami) from when Capcom closed down Clover '06-'07-ish.

I would say that MH isn't for everyone, though. Also, the demo is kind of a horrible representation of what the game's like, since it just kinda throws you into a fight completely blind.

If any of your friends have MH, maybe ask them if they think you'd be into it, or give it a try at their place if possible.

Also, if Wii games count, then Little King's Story is kinda like fantasy Pikmin. ... Kinda.

Anything by Platinum Games is absolutely godlike (For the Wii U this means Bayonetta 1 and 2 and The Wonderful 101). Platinum games is the most amazing game company ever created.

Besides that Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate is a great game, but keep in mind it will take at least 10-20 hours before you even start to get into the game. Pikmin 3 is also amazing and Zombi U is great if you enjoy classic survival horror.

Seriously though, words cannot describe how good Bayo and Wonderful 101 are. Play them. Now.
