Recommed me a nice camera for cruise

Hi, there. Was wondering anyone of u have experience with this Olympus E-620 12.3MP SLR Camera? Gonna have a nice cruise trip with my gf soon. Wanna take a nice camera to capture every unforgottable moment. Actually, I have an old Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W370/R 14.1MP Digital camera. But I don't think its qualified enough. My friend suggest me to go with this olympus camera. It is said to be great. But I'm not sure about that. You know it's not a small investment to me. Before the real purchase I wanna make sure it really worth the price. What do u guys think about it? Any other good suggestions? Thanks.
