I noticed another video uploaded a few days ago talking about "tech practicing" and as said in the vid thread, he would've died after each hit he "tech'd", heres how it should be done.

I thought that when teching on those you didn't have to smash DI towards it. I find teching with bombs in training mode more effective.

I can wall tech, but only attacks, I cannot do this (although you don't really need this in battle )

your techs would kill you too since u landed on platforms below you instead of firefoxing again if u could really tech good you wouldnt have to land in between but do them all in a row

burners send you to the right if you're facing them and to the left if you have your back to them.
So if you go into the right side of the burner you need to smash DI, always.

Wow this video made me try that, and it's really good practice. At first I couldn't do it all but now I can walltech pretty much 99% of the time xD At least on those blocks I can lol. Why'd you land in between your techs on platforms instead of chaining them together? I think it would've made a better video if you just did one after another. Anyways, it really helped, thanks a lot Hoodie.

well you could jump backwards into it, doing a backair (to prevent airdodging from pressing L)
then you'll be sent the other way so it's easy from the right side but you'll need smash DI from the left side

And he can't chain them because you're invincible for a while after being hit by a burner. (and you need to wait a bit between 2 techs)

I know you have invincible frames, but the firefox takes long enough that the invincible frames finish and you can tech again without landing. I'll record it later if I get the chance ^^

you can actually get rid of the invincibility frames gained from hitting the burners by playing through adventure mode to the team of kirby's and then suiciding all your lives. it will ask you to continue, answer no. now you won't have to wait for the invincibility frames to end!

And yeah, for those of you saying I should've chained them, i couldn't because liike said already, the invincibility frames. if that were a ledge of a stage i would've upBd towards the stage anyways, so no, I would'nt have died, unless while going back towards the stage i get hit again and miss the tech.

EDIT: actually, I was just messing around with it and you can chain the techs, if you happen to walljump when you tech, you can let fox jump out a bit then charge up the firefox to shoot back towards the burners, my bad =]

Out of curiousity, why do you have to use Smash DI to survive the right side of the burner, but not for the left side?
