RCA to VGA

I want to use a RCA to VGA adapter to use my monitor as a TV to play my Gamecube on it. Do i need a converter box or will just the cables work?

Just the cables will work. You don't need a converter box or anything.

Your monitor will lag, though. Just saying...

But it will work.

Ok thanks; i was using an adapter that went to my computer then through a program into my monitor and that lagged so i was thinking directly plugging it into my monitor would fix that.
