Woo, am I pro. I've only been maining Mario for like a day or two now but i'm really liking him. This match is just one between me and my friend SFL Luigi. It's not that great of a match or anything. I guess the point of this is just so you Mario veterans can help pinpoint what I need to work on so I can do better. I will post more matches in the future.

I realize that. If you had read my first post instead of just watching the video, I asked for people to pinpoint things that I can do to improve. "you have to improve, other people are faster" is not good enough.

My advice is to incorporate the F.L.U.D.D. (Use the tipper!) and the fireballs more into your combos and fighting style; don't be afraid to camp or lead up with attacks. Also, you could try using the cape as an alternative to the Fair. Overall, you're very good but you tend to run into attacks a bit when being aggressive, which has been a problem for me too sometimes; learn to read and predict your opponent more, and be patient; look for openings.

*Shield grabs work well because of Mario's short grab range*

*Mario will slide a bit with his grab if you use it while walking*

*It doesn't hurt to learn advanced techs either*

*You're a very good example of how a Mario player should play; you're very good*

Wavebouncing with the cape works pretty well in case you're afraid you might get hit when trying to use the cape. Also...please try to Capedash; I really am trying to set up a video but try to test it out in the meantime.

Thank you question mark guy. I will try to incorporate Capdashing and Wavebouncing as well as the F.L.U.U.D. I think as soon as I know how to actually play mario a bit better, I will be using those things in my attacks. Thanks for the other information as well. I think practice will help.

I should soon have about 7 Mario Vs. Bowser vids and some Mario V. Link vids.

Overall not bad but i caught one thing on the first stock kill, you could have Cape glided not saying would have been the right decision but remember thats always and option.

I still say his super soaker is useless, but that's just me.

Use fireballs more often, they're good to use for approaching and camping... And I think you should try to get a more aggressive edge guarding game, Mario's really good at edge guarding, use it at it's full potential =]

You said your next matches are against Link..? He's really easy to gimp off the edge, I guess you can use that as a practice edge guard..?
