I'll take a quick look now, and do a fairly thorough look through of it tomorrow if no one else does, but for the time being: I didn't watch the whole DDD match, but from the first bit I did see, you really can out swinging. You missed a few smashes, and you were so close with your fair that you were punished. In this case you need to learn to play a little cautiously, and instead of playing aggressively, think about the situation and find the best way to approach. DDD should try to camp you forcing you to approach, but do so carefully, taking into account any risks, and pick the choice that will render you most safe.
